Tapwing

A moment of Tapwing gameplay

A short advert, then you play.

How to play

The goal

Fly through the gap in every gate for as long as you can. You have five lives: anything you touch costs one, and you carry on in the same stage. The gaps narrow and the gates come faster the further you get.

What scores

Every gate you pass through pays, and clearing a set of gates pays a stage bonus that grows as the gaps tighten. Nothing else scores, so distance is the whole score. Each flap is a fixed lift, not a push — tapping faster does not climb faster, it only stops you falling. Touching a gate, the ground or the ceiling costs a life; the bird waits a moment and starts again in the same stage, keeping everything it banked, and the gates it already flew do not come back to be scored twice. The run ends when the fifth life goes. Restarting or reloading mid-run ends it, and a spent entry does not come back. Leaving the tab pauses you; the controls come back released.
